Last weekend my parents came in town for a visit. We had perfect weather in Atlanta (I hope it encouraged the idea of relocation) and Danny and I had the best time with them!Friday afternoon I showed them the shop at my work where all the cabinets are made. My dad loved it and wants to come work on his next trip to pick up some new woodworking skills. We also visited a beautiful job we just recently completed, and I took them to tour the Show House on Saturday. Mom and I got a little shopping in while Danny and Dad grilled up some dinner and we wrapped up the evening with a "friendly" game of cards.
Sunday after church we packed a picnic and headed to Piedmont Park...some football, wine, cheese, people watching and a quick snooze later, and it was time to take them to the airport. The time flew by so quickly, but was the such a great visit. I'm so thankful for my Mom and Dad and the great time we had together!
Falling in line with the family weekend, Sunday evening we had fun at celebrating Jessica's college graduation then ate dinner with Danny's family.
