Saturday we strolled around Piedmont Park at the Dogwood Festival; Danny admitted to enjoy the people watching with me, and we both marveled at the cool canines preforming in the dog show, as well as the creative art vendors set up all over the park. 
For dinner we tried some thing new, Bistro VG, now a favorite for both of us! The atmosphere was perfect and the food outstanding!

We came home, sliced open our year-old cake, and played a fun little game my crafty mom made for our "paper anniversary". 
Danny's token phrase, "What a day!" could not have described it better :) The two of us are extremely thankful for such a great year and especially for each other.
